Whitstable Oyster Festival - Art, Heritage, Family, Food and Drink.

Festival Sponsors

Sponsorship support is vital to ensure a lively and entertaining Festival each year, and is highly valued. We would like to thank our 2009 sponsors, who made it possible for us to present a full, lively and successful festival.

Kent County Council
The Festival is very grateful to Kent County Council for the Community Engagement Grant received to support the 2009 event. This grant enabled the Festival to increase its support to local performers and enabled a wider range of people and organisations to participate.
Chaucer Insurance
We are delighted that Chaucer Insurance sponsored the 2009 Whitstable Oyster Festival as part of its wider Corporate Social Responsibility programme. This sponsorship recognises the value Chaucer Insurance places on employees and their families in Whitstable as well as the wider Whitstable community.
Vattenfall
Vattenfall is the proud owner of the Kentish Flats Wind Farm, off the coast of Whitstable. Vattenfall, the fifth biggest energy company in Europe, is one of the biggest investors in power generation from renewable energy sources where wind power plays an important role. We are grateful to Vattenfall for its sponsorship of the Festival in 2009.
Local Food and Produce from Kent. Produced in Kent
Produced in Kent is very passionate about promoting local food and supporting local producers. By sponsoring the 2009 Whitstable Oyster Festival, Produced in Kent supported Whitstable (itself a great supporter of local food) and its many members who exhibited a wonderful selection of local produce at this prestigious event. Please visit www.producedinkent.co.uk for more information about local food in Kent.

Coastal Town Management
Whitstable Town Centre management generously sponsored the Harbour Music Stage on the final night of the 2009 Festival.
