DELICIOUS demonstrations and mouth-watering morsels will be on offer during this year’s Whitstable Oyster Festival, which starts on Saturday, July 18.
But although the Kent town is best known for its seafood there will be plenty for the more shellfish-shy to enjoy during the week-long festival, including a special two-day event focussing on all kinds of natural, succulent and local foods.
Whitstable is gearing up for the annual Oyster Festival, which this year promises to be the best ever.
The week-long celebration of summer starts on Saturday, July 18 and the Whitstable Oyster Festival Association have packed the programme with 20 per cent more events than ever before.
Today sees the launch of the new Whitstable Oyster Festival website published by the Whitstable Oyster Festival Association.
