In this completely open art exhibition local artists submit two dimensional works sized A1 or smaller. A diverse selection of artworks is on show and on sale to visitors.

Willow Fish! Fishywish Finale Workshop with Valerie Bartlett

Make willow fish to take to the festival finale on Friday. Willow fish symbolize the riches of the sea, and are traditionally given to mermaids to wish them good speed on their journey through the ocean depths.

Garden with the Experts

Join Whitstable Castle’s head gardener Daniel Pretlove for a fascinating talk about the Castle Gardens. The talk will be followed by an open Q&A with Daniel and Hadlow’s Kevin Tooher so come armed with lots of questions.

Walk in Time with David Kincaid
Keam’s Yard Car Park, Island Wall (meeting point)

A walk back in time through Whitstable’s industrial past. Walk will start at Keam’s Yard and visit the Favourite, Island Wall, the Horsebridge , Sea Wall, the Harbour, the former Copperas works and finish at the castle (in time for tea).
