Your small ones will learn a variety of icing techniques so that they can decorate four cupcakes. Pre-made cakes, icing and sprinkles plus a presentation box, which they can also decorate, will be provided.

Mer-masks! Finale Workshop with Valerie Bartlett

Make mer-masks to wear to the festival finale on Friday. In the underwater cities of Atlantis, mer-masks are traditionally worn in the presence of mermaids as a sign of respect.

Victory Wood walk

A six mile walk across the Woodland Trusts new wood commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar with great views over the Thames Estuary and then through some of the ancient woodland of the Blean.

All eggs that have been through the training camp and received official entry status are now called to the Whitstable Oyster Egg Olympic Stadium (aka Tankerton Slopes) to face the five fearful challenges. It’s no yoking matter!

A fun and noisy way to develop a love of language and a foundation for learning, for children under 3 years old. Parents, carers and children will have fun with nursery rhymes and action songs.

Sign-up for a flagstone and creative ‘Talk & Chalk’ session for young aspiring artists. No scribblers but careful, considered creations in chalk, by children, encouraged by Whitstable artist Paul George. Look out for your creation on the Festival Facebook page.
