The Whitstable Oyster Festival is a vibrant celebration of Whitstable’s history, heritage, talent and traditions.

In July last year Whitstable invited friends and visitors to share its unique culture and atmosphere, showcased across a full week of festival festivities. For a taste of what the festival contained in 2009, why not browse through the list of last year’s events, and then make a note in your diary for 2010.

A full list of events for 2010 will begin to appear on this site in April and remember, most events in the festival are free, all are affordable and there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Whitstable Oyster Festival is core funded by Canterbury City Council, which works alongside the Whitstable Oyster Festival Association (WOFA) to produce an event that truly reflects the interests and enthusiasm of the local community.
