All workshops are run by local people with a passion for their subject and for Whitstable too. Not only will you create a unique souvenir from your escape you’ll get the inside knowledge about our town from a local.

Every day will provide the opportunity for you to indulge in a creative activity with like minded people and let you ‘escape’ from life for a short while to find your creative self.

Escape to create pretty beach hut purses with Kirsty Southam

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some sewing skills, come and stitch away and decorate a purse with pretty beach huts, the perfect souvenir of your escape to create in Whitstable.

Using recycled fabric fragments and colourful threads, you will be creating your own textile accessory to treasure. So come and pick up your needle and be creative!

Cost: £25 (£22 if booked by June 30th). All materials supplied.
