The EPICentre

The superb quality of Whitstable oysters has been an open secret for centuries but now Whitstable can also claim to be a gastronomic utopia across the board. The EPICentre food fair has fast become a popular event within Whitstable’s annual Oyster Festival, and now attracts thousands of people every day.

On Saturday and Sunday (24th & 25th July) Whitstable’s busy working Harbour will host over 50 producers of fabulous food and drink, all offering a superb taste experience and more besides. Come along on Saturday for the EPICentre stage where you’ll find demonstrations, entertainment and the infamously competitive Oyster eating challenge. Or help us celebrate Sea Sunday with a special service and additional activities with a maritime theme.

In just 2 years the EPICentre has become one of UK’s major food fairs; upholding Kent’s reputation as the Garden of England.
