What kind of people write books about dragons, giants and werewolves called Ulf? The Beastly Boys, that’s who.

There are four books in the “Awfully Beastly Business” series: ‘Sea Monsters & Other Delicacies’, ‘Werewolf versus Dragon’, ‘Bang Goes a Troll’ (my favourite!), and now “’The Jungle Vampire’ which is even better.
As a special treat during the Oyster Festival the Beastly Boys will be coming to the Horsebridge Centre with an event jam packed full – take yourselves to the wonderful and mysterious Farraway Hall, the home of the RSPCB (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts). Farraway Hall is a sanctuary for rare and endangered beasts, including Ulf the boy werewolf, and Tiana the fairy.
Hosted by an eccentric member of the Hall, you’ll be introduced to the different characters living on the grounds. There’ll be a chance to ask the Beastly Boys questions about their fantastic book series, An Awfully Beastly Business, and hear some extracts from titles such as Werewolf Vs. Dragon and the brand new title, The Jungle Vampire. Be prepared for some surprises!
Presented in partnership with Kent Libraries & Archives. In connection with the Quest Seekers Challenge, an innovative and interactive way for youngsters to get involved with books and reading. See www.questseekers.org.uk.
