Fact Fiction - A special Artwork for the 2011 Festival

Think you know all there is to know about Whitstable? Then try and pick out which facts are real and which are made up in this FACT FICTION limited edition screenprint.

The real facts are taken from the Whitstable Oyster Festival’s official Twitter feed @whitoysterfest. The fake facts are from spoof Twitter account @whitstablefacts, set up by a mystery local who cheekily invents funny facts about our seaside town.

FACT FICTION was screenprinted at local facility www.theprintblock.com by @emilyaturner who was given permission by @whitoysterfest and @whitstablefacts to pit fake versus real Whitstable facts in print.

These limited edition prints will available to view and buy from July 16th at the Horsebridge Centre, and after the Festival in ‘Taking The Plunge’, 26 High Street. A perpetual reminder of Whitstable - Fact and Fiction, but who knows which?
