All workshops are run by local people with a passion for their subject and for Whitstable too. Not only will you create a unique souvenir from your escape you’ll get the inside knowledge about our town from a local.

Every day will provide the opportunity for you to indulge in a creative activity with like minded people and let you ‘escape’ from life for a short while to find your creative self.

You want to start writing but what do you want to write and how do you get started? Join this fun, fast paced workshop and learn about your options. What form of writing suits your voice? Fiction, poetry, drama, creative non-fiction, short fiction, flash fiction – there are a lot of options out there. What vital connections can you make to move your work forward and bring it to life? This workshop will offer practical tips, insider knowledge, and plenty of writing exercises to help you start something new.
